After obtaining my MSc I became involved in research and was studying muscle proteins, transplantation of insulin producing cells and organisms that cause Sexually Transmitted Diseases. I also led a project on bioleaching of copper and gold ores. My work involved a multitude of different techniques and skills. I have also had a great interest in conventional medicine; was well read in many medical journals and thought of studying medicine.

My interest in complementary medicine started through my best friend (consultant paediatrician) who then began to study homœopathy and anthroposophy.

I changed my plans and went on to study. homœopathy. I graduated from The College of Homœopathy in 1998.

In 2003 I trained in EMS therapy.
